Homeopathic Medicine
Homeopathy is based upon the principle of "like cures like" and stimulates the body's innate healing ability. Remedies are substances that are diluted, often beyond measurable amounts. It can be used to address physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Remedies can be prescribed for acute concerns or as a constitutional remedy.
Supplements and Nutraceuticals
Supplements and nutraceuticals are utilized to build the body back up, stimulate and promote activity of specific pathways within the body. There is a wide variety supplements - some being made of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbs, and extracts.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the use of water for healing purposes. It can be a wonderful tool to improve whole body circulation of the blood and lymphatic system. Often times specific durations of hot versus cold water exposure to a specific area or areas is prescribed.
Bodywork
Bodywork is a therapeutic use of massage and massage like techniques to enhance and promote healing of an area or areas of the body. Often bodywork is effective in aiding nervous system healing, reducing pain and supporting musculoskeletal complaints. Dr. Hannah may recommend therapies she performs, such as craniosacral therapy, myofascial massage and/or cupping therapy. Other bodywork, such as deep tissue massage, chiropractic manipulations, pelvic floor therapy and physical therapy may also be recommended with a referral.
